The day skipper course is designed to teach pilotage, navigation, seamanship and boat handling up to the standard required to skipper a cruising yacht safely by day in tidal waters with which the student is familiar.You must have a least a comp crew cert before embarking on this course.

Our day skipper courses are generally run over live aboard weekends where students get a chance to participate fully in the running and sailing of the boat. Each student is given a log book and we work on a progressive on going learning programme.

These courses are run on the magnificent South Coast, where secluded anchorages, marine wildlife and spectacular panoramas are the order of the day.
After an intensive days sailing some more exploring of shore side “wild life” is a must!
