The Competent Crew course is designed for people with little or no cruising experience. At the end of the course the student should be capable of functioning as an active crew member on a cruising yacht.

Our comp crew courses are generally run over live aboard weekends and full weeks where students get a chance to participate fully in the running and sailing of the boat. Each student is given a log book and we work on a progressive, on going learning programme tailored to each individual.

These courses are mainly run on the magnificent South Coast, where secluded anchorages, marine wildlife and spectacular panoramas are the order of the day.

After an intensive days sailing some more exploring of shore side “wild life” is a must!
